Overview

This internship position is an excellent opportunity for a current STEM student looking to gain experience within a Research & Development (R&D) environment. This intern will work with R&D engineers and lab personnel on new product development and research projects and help with testing, problem solving, and data analysis.

 

 

5/26/26- 8/6/26

This internship is required to be in office minimum 4 days per week.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Learn test methods
  • Participate in sample and prototype creation.
  • Perform tests and collecting data
  • Analyze data
  • Consult with engineers and lab technicians on testing
  • Participate in problem solving efforts
  • Document and present results

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Intern candidate should be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Engineering
  • Chemistry or engineering is a preferred field of sturdy (not required)
  • Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Capable of working with others.
  • Experience with using MS Office tools (i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to sit, stand and work in front of a laptop or PC workstation for extended periods of time
  • Some light lifting may be required
  • Manual dexterity for completion of technical tasks
