Order Processing Associate

SUMMARY OF POSITION

In this role, you will help to coordinate the flow of finished products through our fast-paced warehouse, while having a direct impact on the level of success we achieve as an organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Pick orders and pull inventory based on Pick Tickets received from management.
• Work with Warehouse Manager and Floor Supervisor to see if orders are ready for shipping or need to be staged.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Performs other warehouse functions as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least one year of experience in warehouse and familiarity with an inventory control system.
• The ability to maintain computerized inventory system promptly and accurately.
• A good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, Order Pickers, Walkies, Trans-Stackers, and Clamp Trucks.
• Experience with handheld scanning devices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, light to moderate physical effort is required. Ability to lift or maneuver box in excess of 40+lbs. Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility.
