Supply Chain Planning Analyst

SUMMARY OF POSITION

In an effort to further drive efficiencies and synergies, we have the need for an individual contributor that is responsible for a variety of responsibilities across the Supply Chain Planning space. This person will support the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Master Data teams in various reporting, metrics preparation, projects and analysis activities. They will also help support our objective to strengthen our inventory management discipline.

This inquisitive and dynamic individual will be working autonomously, with no direct reports, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop new and enhance current reports/analyses pertaining to key performance metrics and daily tracking of organizational initiatives.
• Publish and communicate necessary reports effectively to key stakeholders and executive management.
• Drive analysis of various aspects of the organization that proactively identify problematics areas and recommend required actions and mitigation plans.
• Gather data from multiple sources with the ability to translate clear and concise data sets related to supply chain activities.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement affecting Demand, Supply, & Master Data teams.
• Actively participate in the delivery of projects & process improvement initiatives
• Support process documentation initiatives (work instructions, standard operating procedures, maintenance of ISO documentation, etc.).
• Manage some operational responsibilities, mostly transactional

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years’ minimum experience in supply chain planning roles
• Ability to validate and translate abstract data into meaningful information
• Demonstrated attention to details
• Effective communication in both verbal and written form. Communicates information to and actively seeks information from the right people to perform the job responsibilities.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs & SAP MRP experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, preferably Operations or Supply Chain management.
• Office location: Avon, OH or Hickory, NC
